1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to TiimoAI! By installing, accessing, or using the TiimoAI Chrome extension ("Extension," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use TiimoAI.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and TiimoAI ("Company," "we," or "us").

2. Description of Service

TiimoAI is a Chrome browser extension that provides:

Free Features:

  • Pomodoro timer with customizable work/break durations
  • Task management and project categorization
  • Focus Shield website blocking during active sessions
  • Basic productivity analytics

Premium (Pro) Features:

  • AI-powered time recommendations
  • AI Highlighter for text analysis
  • AI-powered tab organization and grouping
  • Smart duplicate tab detection
  • Advanced analytics dashboard with 365-day history
  • Priority customer support

Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Eligibility

Age Requirement:

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use TiimoAI
  • Users aged 13-17 must have parental or guardian consent
  • By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements

Capacity:

  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • You represent that you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership

TiimoAI owns all rights, title, and interest in:

  • The Extension and all its features
  • TiimoAI trademark, logo, and branding
  • All software, code, and documentation
  • All design, graphics, and user interface elements

You receive only a limited license to use the Service as described in these Terms.

7.2 Your License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Install and use the Extension for personal productivity purposes
  • Access Pro features if you have a valid license

This license does NOT permit you to:

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the software
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the Extension for commercial purposes (e.g., selling services based on TiimoAI)

7.3 User Content

You retain ownership of content you create using TiimoAI (tasks, notes, etc.).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store your content on your device (via local storage)
  • Process your content to provide Service features
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement

We do NOT:

  • Claim ownership of your tasks, notes, or productivity data
  • Sell your content to third parties
  • Use your content for advertising

7.4 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about TiimoAI:

  • You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them
  • We are not obligated to implement your suggestions
  • You will not be compensated unless otherwise agreed in writing

8. Third-Party Services & Content

8.1 Integrations

TiimoAI integrates with third-party services:

  • Supabase: Authentication and database services
  • OpenAI: AI features (optional, Pro users only, requires your API key)

You acknowledge:

  • These services have their own Terms of Service
  • We are not responsible for third-party service outages or issues
  • You must comply with third-party terms when using integrations

8.2 External Links

The Extension may contain links to external websites.

  • We do not control or endorse these websites
  • We are not responsible for their content or practices
  • You access external sites at your own risk

9. Privacy & Data Collection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy (see separate document).

Key Points:

  • Most data is stored locally on your device
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • Authentication handled securely via Supabase
  • AI features (optional) may send selected text to OpenAI
